Our vacation has been going great, with a few hiccups. There have been some inconveniences due to Covid-19, and then there is Tropical Storm Isaias. The tropical weather has always been a concern, when we head to Florida. Usually, we go in September either here or to Myrtle Beach, SC. This is around the peak of the hurricane season, so I’m always watching. This time during the early part of the season, when there are fewer storms, typically, Isaias showed up.
So far things have been uneventful, just another relaxing vacation. We did get sunburned on the first day, and took it easy yesterday, with some pool time and sitting in the water, or the shade.
Today, however, we are sitting in our resort room, and waiting out Isaias. Occasionally, we venture out and video or take pictures of the weather. Keep an eye on our Instagram account for updates (we try to keep the Facebook page updated with Instagram as well). The idea will be to put together a video for our vacation on our YouTube channel when we get back.
